SIGNS OF SPRING

Morning everyone! I hope its sunny where you are! I'm really looking forward to spring when all the 'wee lambies' are born and all the sunflowers ( Mummy keeps telling me they are daffodils! ) come out! The birds are singing in the garden and I've even found some snowdrops in the corner of the garden when I took a break from bashing my bricks and went for a wonder.
Have you seen my daffodil/sunflower?
I was given it back in autumn as a bulb by nursery and with the help of Mummy, have kept it going from bulb to flower! We're quite proud of ourselves! You see the nursery gave all the children one and we are to ask for sponsorship to keep it going and are to take it back to nursery. All the money raised will go to Marie Curie. Children aged 3 - 11 have been taking part in the MINI POTS OF CARE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITY.
I've loved watching it grow from the first day I saw some green stuff pop out of the soil. It's been so exciting! And its not over yet! I get to decorate a pot for it on the 25th of February. Luckily I'm at nursery that day.
I go to Nursery three days a week just now. I love it there. But I'm definitely ready for school after Summer! One more birthday and I'll be old enough! Can't wait!

I really do love my daffodil! Just giving it a hug!
Have a good day everyone!

A BIT OF DIRT NEVER HURT ANYONE!

We are on holiday from Nursery at the moment! So I asked Murray what he wanted to do today. Go to the park? Go for a walk? No.
"Mum can I just go into the garden and smash smash some bricks and dig?"
So be it. So off he went happily wrapped up in jacket, gloves, hat and scarf, until the sun came out and raised the temperature. He then came in asking for a bucket of water as he needed to make mud! Not thinking anything of it I happily handed him some water.
However, five minutes later I was greeted with this at the door!

Hmmmm! Looks like Master Frost had fun! And that his Hunter wellies he received from Auntie Lou for Christmas have indeed been put to good use!
Murray loves being out in the garden, and is very green fingered! He's got his own wheel barrow, spade and trowel up at Grannie Frost's cottage. When I go to pick him up I often find him happily playing away in the garden, but never have I seen him this dirty!
Nor these for that matter!

Oh well, a bit of dirt never hurt anyone!
Bath time for Murray me thinks!
